A clean record matters more than a full archive.
We correct at the claim and version level. When identity or support fails, a page can be withdrawn rather than left online for traffic.
What changed already
A legacy couple page was withdrawn after review found that its timeline combined different subjects. The page now returns a permanent gone response with a plain explanation instead of redirecting the unsupported history elsewhere.
Correction levels
- Presentation fixes do not reset editorial freshness.
- Substantive factual fixes create a visible correction note and immutable version.
- Identity, privacy, rights, or unsupported-claim failures can trigger quarantine or retraction across every usage.
Requesting review
The private correction intake is still being hardened, so it is not collecting personal submissions yet. That is a temporary limitation, not a claim that review is available. The live form will create an auditable operator record without publishing the sender’s identity.
